RIL Cuts PE Prices Sharply, Withdraws Protection; Announces Volume-Linked Incentives for PE and PP (April 2026)

RIL reduced PE prices effective 16 April 2026, with LDPE down ₹3–7/kg, LLDPE down ₹6–11/kg, and HDPE down ₹3–6/kg depending on grade, while withdrawing price protection across all PE. It introduced volume-linked incentives for April 2026, offering ₹2,500–3,000/MT for PE based on MOU lifting and ₹2,750–3,500/MT for PP based on prior-year lifting, excluding BOPP, CPP, and contractual customers, signalling a push to drive demand and volumes.
