IOCL Implements Sharp Polyolefin Price Cuts, Withdraws Protection to Boost Demand (Effective 16 April 2026)

IOCL reduced PP prices by ₹10,000/MT, HDPE by ₹3,000–6,000/MT depending on grade, and LLDPE by ₹6,000/MT with deeper ₹11,000/MT cuts in film and drip grades effective 16 April 2026. The company also withdrew price protection, indicating a strong push to stimulate demand, clear inventories, and align with broader market corrections in a subdued polymer demand environment.
